Missions
Laos
During the past ten years in Communist Laos, beginning with one minister, hundreds of souls have been reached for the Word of God. This has grown to fifteen ministers in twelve churches who faithfully spread the Restored Word of God, preaching in the local Hmong language every Sunday. Hundreds of men and women have been baptized through this work.
There are now three printing stations in Laos printing ten sermons of William Branham monthly into Lao and the local dialect of Hmong. Multiple print stations are needed due to security checkpoints. The books are transported by motorcycle over roads similar to those shown in this video. Even though the roads are muddy and the travel slow for several months of the year, these ministers count it all joy to be able to deliver these books and Bibles to their congregations.
Bibles in the local language are being provided free of charge to all literate believers. Free reading classes are helping the brethren learn to read.
Br. Paul, in Cambodia, has faithfully supported the Lao ministry. His help is invaluable. He holds weekly live YouTube teaching sessions with Questions & Answers. These sessions allow the brethren to become more grounded in the restored Word of the Message. Bro. Paul has diligently translated 150 sermons into Lao in audio format. He sends the sermons to Lao believers who transcribe and print them into Lao and Hmong.
Brother Paul has traveled to Laos many times in support of the ministry. The danger to him is very real as his travels have been closely monitored by the police. One very zealous local brother was jailed and faced hefty fines for preaching the Word. Br. Paul's wife fears for her husband's safety during these trips.
Please help us continue this precious work by praying for and donating to the ministry in Laos.
Monthly printing costs are about $2000.
Monthly travel costs for 8 ministers are $400.
Monthly translation costs $400.
Bibles cost $22.00. The current need is for 180 Bibles.
Occasional expenses for repairs to the printers and motorcycles run about $200 a month.
Israel
Our work in Israel is growing steadily with a congregation of 50% Jewish and 50% immigrant participants from Siberia-Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Several African countries, the Philippines, and other countries. For the past 8 years Bro. John has been living in Israel with his family. He increased his knowledge of Hebrew as he taught English. Today Bro. John can translate many of Brother Branham’s sermons into both Hebrew and Greek. They can be found on YouTube, as well as a weekly sermon in both languages. As you can imagine life in Israel is becoming increasingly dangerous as the Iranian missiles fall more often and deeper into the country. Warning sirens often send the families scrambling to safety in local shelters. Nevertheless, the church is growing, and they have been looking for a larger location for the past two years.
Israel is listed as one of the most expensive countries in which to live, so Literal Life Church sends money to help cover Pastor John and his family’s living expenses. We also contribute to the travel costs for Pastor John as he strives to care for his flock. He has been surviving on Literal Life Church contributions, spontaneous gifts, his savings, and teaching English one day a week. Bro. John was building a real estate business helping Jews resettle in Israel which is now nearly at a standstill due to the wars with Lebanon and Iran.
Returning from attending a funeral in the United States their family was routed through Athens, Greece. While searching for a flight to Israel, the war with Lebanon began forcing them to stay in Greece, allowing Bro. John to fulfill a vision to minister in Greece. The family longs to return to Israel to attend to their flock and continue their valuable work there. Please prayerfully consider giving to help with the ongoing work in Israel.
Ghana
Twenty years of prayer is finally being answered for the believers in Ghana.
Bro. Daniel Darko has needed a church to hold meetings for years and with our help they will soon have a roof over their heads and strong walls to protect them from the rain and wind.
The believers at Literal Life Church have given faithfully to missions. These funds are prayerfully sent to cover expenses in numerous locations around the world. Recently $5,000.00 was sent to pay for the wooden beams you see in these photos.
